Five years since Covid… and Art Terry & the Black Bohemians are revisiting the Self Isolation Songbook. Come lock down with us at the beautiful CLF Art Lounge in Peckham. We’ll be screening our short film, getting funky and launching the film’s soundtrack. Select the date - March 28 - to book a spot in the lounge.
The Village Butty Band (formerly 'The Relatives') come to Jamboree for one night only, performing songs from their debut album 'Increasing The Overall Jollity of The Nation.' Support from Art Terry & the Black Bohemians, playing their delirious brand of arthouse funk. The evening is in aid of London's cherished arts radio station, Resonance 104.4FM.
This song cycle references the Black community and Black culture, using avant pop and improvisation to explore themes of holiday isolation, pagan symbolism and festive consumerism. Art Terry's nine-piece ensemble, the Black Bohemians, will be joined by string players from the Dulcis Ensemble from Lagos, Nigeria.
